More than a shadow of a smile…


The skis, poles, and boots are 40+ years old…and who KNOWS when the last time was when I got out and did some cross country skiing, before my outing this afternoon. I told a friend today that my skiing skills are about as good as my horseback riding skills -all of six lessons on THAT subject.
But despite my lack of ability, at some point, as I was gliding (albeit with a bit of a wobble) down the gentle slope of our backyard, I became aware that every part of me was smiling…and yeah…I’m going out again tomorrow…

It’s been a beautiful morning in so many ways! After returning home from a powerful worship service at Crosswinds, Mike went out for a run (in shorts!) and I stayed home to practice, however, I was not alone! This was my little audience-completely still for more than 2 minutes with folded hands as if he or she knew the Lamb of God to Whom I was singing…
