for dinner tonight and wondering about the many family meals that were prepared using these two kitchen relics – Grandma’s dutch oven and Mom’s wooden spoon. The soup still has to simmer, but as the aromas of thyme, leeks, and mushrooms fill the house on this December 1st evening, so, too, is my heart filled with memories…and I am blessed that both are a delight…


I keep getting these in the mail…addressed to ME! I’m wondering if the Mr. is behind it…

Though I’m slightly embarrassed by posting this photo of the ‘use-by’ date, I’m singing, RING-A-DING-DING – this Bell’s Seasoning (SO TRADITIONAL!!!) is finally used up! From now on, I’m starting a new tradition by making my own seasoning blend starting with this recipe…
